Why garment-dyed cotton twill
Most chinos are cut from fabric that is dyed first. Ours are sewn first and dyed after. That gives the twill a soft, lived-in hand, a little high-low variation at the seams and pockets, and a colour that fades gently instead of all at once. It is the closest you can get to a ten-year-old favourite pair on day one.
How to wear them
Chinos sit between jeans and trousers, which is why they work almost everywhere. Wear the Original with a Supima tee and a trucker jacket on weekdays, or with an oxford and loafers when the day needs more. The Weekend Chino pairs with a heavier knit or a camp shirt jacket. The Easy Chino goes anywhere you'd wear sweatpants but don't want to look like it.

Questions we get asked
Are Save Khaki chinos made in the USA? Yes. Our chinos are cut and sewn in the USA. Most styles use imported fabric, and each product page states exactly how it is made.
What's the difference between chinos and khakis? Khaki is a colour; chino is the fabric and the pant. Chinos are made from cotton twill and come in every colour. Khakis are chinos in the classic tan shade. We make both, which is how we got our name.
Which fit should I choose? Go Original for a slim, tapered leg; Easy for the same leg with an elastic waist; Weekend for a wide, straight, relaxed leg.
Do your chinos shrink? They're garment-dyed and pre-shrunk, so they hold their size. Wash cold and hang dry to keep the colour longest.
What sizes do you offer? The Original, Weekend and Pleated Chinos come in waist sizes 28 to 38. The Easy and Cord Easy Chinos come in XS to XXL.
