The ridges of piled yarn on corduroy fabric are known as wales, and these wales vary in width. The lower the number, the wider or "chunkier" the wale. The higher the number, the narrower or "finer" the wale.
This season, we bring you two types of corduroy:
a fun and nostalgic chunky 8 wale cord and our tried-and-true year-round 14 wale cord.
