When we designed Good Work, we had a vision: a unisex collection for folks who appreciate the rich history of workwear and care about the craftsmanship behind each piece. Now, we know the word "unisex" can sometimes get a bad rap, but for lack of a better word, we just want our well-made products to be worn by anyone who appreciates them. It's about inclusivity and quality for everyone who wants to be a part of this journey.

The knit tops are cut closer to the body, hugging like a vintage tee from the '60s. The bottoms are roomy, offering ease for movement for any work you'll be doing in this modern workwear. The jackets are slightly oversized to balance the fitted tops with a playful proportion.

This season, we've accessorized with vintage truckers and bandanas from David's inspiration archives. He reluctantly put them in our web shop for those who share his love for nostalgia.

Long Island is a long, narrow island extending far to the east when you look at a map of New York. Toward its eastern end, the island splits into two distinct peninsulas: the South Fork and the North Fork. The South Fork is famous for the Hamptons, with Montauk at its tip, a hotspot frequently visited by surfers and vacationers. In contrast, the North Fork is quaint and tranquil, offering a different kind of charm.

Greenport, located on the Eastern tip of North Fork, was historically known for trade, fishing, and whaling, serving as a vital port for the maritime industry. Today, ferries transport cars and their occupants back and forth from Shelter Island across calm waters.

The North Fork’s fertile soil has supported a variety of crops for centuries. Today, this legacy endures with numerous family-owned farms offering fresh produce, local honey, and artisanal goods. The region’s farming roots are a significant part of its culture and economy.

One of the most notable aspects of North Fork is its burgeoning wine industry. The region is home to numerous vineyards and wineries, each offering unique, locally-produced wines. Visitors can tour these wineries, enjoy tastings, and learn about the winemaking process, all while taking in the scenic vineyard views.

The North Fork’s charm lies in its simplicity and natural beauty. It’s an ideal destination for a day trip, a long weekend, or a summer stay from NYC. Visitors can explore the quaint towns, visit local wineries, and unwind on peaceful beaches. The area’s calm and laid-back atmosphere makes it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, offering a refreshing retreat where time seems to slow down.

The best part of each shoot is collaborating with friends and discovering new imagery as our brand evolves. With each session, our network expands a bit more, infusing fresh energy and forging new friendships.

This season, we connected with the Silver Sands Motel in Greenport, Long Island. One of the owners, a long-time customer, outfitted their staff with SKU staples when they opened last year. When we visited the property, we immediately fell in love with the serene scenes of North Fork and their warm hospitality.

We were thrilled when the opportunity arose to shoot our SS24 lifestyle collection on their property. If you find yourself heading out east this summer, make sure to visit our friends at the Silver Sands Motel.
